Print worksheets cleanly on A4 or US Letter

By Nabin Kunwar · Published November 4, 2026 · Product usage guide

A clean worksheet begins with matching the generated page to the paper in your printer. US Letter measures 8.5 × 11 inches. A4 measures 210 × 297 millimetres. They are different shapes, so printing one on the other can move content or change its scale.

Select the paper you actually have

The US region setting selects Letter. UK and India select A4. You can override this in Paper size. The regional setting is a convenience and does not choose a school curriculum or change the words you enter.

Download or print

Download PDF creates a file with the chosen page dimensions. Print opens the browser's print dialog, where you can choose a printer or Save as PDF. Check the dialog's own paper setting too: a printer setting can override your intended choice.

Preview before using paper

Use the preview to check titles, word lists and difficulty. For a weekly pack, the web preview shows the first day, while the exported file contains all five days. Open the PDF before printing to inspect every page. Avoid extremely long titles and use fewer questions when a learner needs more working room.

Keep answers separate

With answer keys enabled, the download alternates worksheet and answer pages. Choose specific pages in the print dialog if you want to give the learner only the question sheets. Turn off double-sided printing when you want to avoid placing an answer key on the back of a worksheet.

When text looks different

The direct PDF exporter supports Latin text. Browser printing uses the fonts available on your device and is the better option for another script. Results vary by browser and printer. Check a single page first, especially for handwriting practice, and turn off browser headers and footers if they crowd the sheet.
