# Sort text lines

Sort a list of text lines in alphabetical, natural numeric or length order. Keep or remove duplicates before copying the result.

## How to use it

1. Type or paste the text you want to work with.
2. Choose a conversion, clean-up or output option.
3. Copy the result or download it when an export is available.

## Example

Sort file names so item2 appears before item10, or order a list of names alphabetically.

## Limits and checks

Sorting follows your browser’s locale for text comparisons. Empty lines can be removed with the supplied option.

## Access and processing

Free to use without an account. Interactive processing requires JavaScript in a modern browser. Input is processed in the browser rather than sent to a processing server. Optional browser storage is not a synchronized account.
