# Resistor colour decoder

## How to use it

## Example

Decode brown, black, red and gold as a four-band resistor.

## Limits and checks

Read band direction and verify parts with a meter when needed. The decoder does not identify damaged or nonstandard components from a photo.

## Access and processing

Free to use without an account. Interactive processing requires JavaScript in a modern browser. Input is processed in the browser rather than sent to a processing server. Optional browser storage is not a synchronized account.
