# Scientific calculator

Use a full scientific keypad for arithmetic, degree-based trigonometry, inverse trig, powers, roots, logarithms, percentages and factorials with an input-safe parser. Work out a quick total without opening another application.

## How to use it

1. Enter the numbers, dates or units you want to compare.
2. Choose the calculation options and calculate.
3. Review the result together with the assumptions shown.

## Example

Enter 1200 \* (1 - 15 / 100) to calculate a price after a 15% reduction.

## Limits and checks

Trigonometric functions use degrees (DEG), and inverse trig returns degrees. tan(90) is undefined. % divides by 100; mod gives a remainder. Results display up to 12 significant digits.

## Access and processing

Free to use without an account. Interactive processing requires JavaScript in a modern browser. Input is processed in the browser rather than sent to a processing server. Optional browser storage is not a synchronized account.
